GOCO has been engaged by Kalpataru Limited to conduct a market research and feasibility study for a destination spa in Khandala, India. Khandala is roughly 100 kilometers away from Mumbai, 70 kilometers away from Pune and sits in the Sahyadri Mountain Range.

Following GOCO’s extensive research, the development of a contemporary destination spa as part of an integrated resort was recommended. In addition to the destination spa, the development would feature 80 guest rooms and suites, a vegetarian food and beverage venue, a boutique meeting and event space, and an outdoor pool.

Once complete, the Kalpataru community is envisioned to be one of the most unique and prominent lifestyle and wellness resort developments in the country.

The proposed resort is assumed to be operational by 2014.
